“Everything Speaks” is a collection of poems on nature, magic, and forgotten ways. A modern day ‘spell book’, it highlights the power of the word and the importance of naming to make be. Poetry is, as always has been, its own form of magic: when read, the poem becomes an invocation. By way of stating, we set into motion.

“Everything Speaks” asks the reader to see through the eyes of nature, an all-encompassing whole. Using the voices of wildlife, the elements, ancient archetypes, and the landscape itself, the poet becomes a medium and a fortune-weaver. We learn to think in the old ways, and bring their magic back to life.
